International students experience an inclusive high school experience with opportunities to be involved and learn new things.

  • Athletic programs available for male and female students in all grade levels
  • Club and other extracurriculars available to provide student engagement and expose students to new areas of interest
  • Involvement and leadership roles help students develop strong resumes for the university admissions process
  • New clubs and activities may be initiated by students with the support and approval of the schools 
Students can choose from many activities including art club, strings ensemble and tennis.

Meet Us: Grace

Having to choose between Columbia University, MIT and more than a dozen other top-notch schools, Lutheran South Valedictorian Thuong “Grace” Ho is attending Harvard University today.

Ho earned a full scholarship after being selected as a finalist in the QuestBridge National College Match competition. She plans to major in molecular biology and history in college with the goal of pursuing a career in medicine. She also has a passion for human rights based on her experiences in Vietnam, where there is little freedom of speech and religion - rights she has enjoyed since coming to America in 2016. Ho was involved in numerous activities at Lutheran South, including HOSA, National Honor Society, Messengers, Mock Trial, and Student Council.
